Lightning Components is a user interface (UI) framework that may be used to build desktop and mobile applications. Salesforce administrators use these components to build single-page web applications that provide an end-to-end experience for a range of functions on the platform.

  • Open Developer Console in a New Window by clicking on your name.
  • Go to File -> New -> Lightning Component -> Give it the name FirstComponent and hit Submit.
