- That basically depends on your previous experience or qualification. It should be in sync. You cannot choose a career in finance if you are from HR background. Though, both Oracle Finance and SCM has huge prospect in terms of career and global market. Both has huge number of implementation going around in the world. But if you use your previous experience with proper option, it will make you career more bright and exponentially growing.
- If you are from finance background then you must go with Oracle Finance. Like if you are from B.Com background or if you have work experience in financial domain. You can choose Oracle Financial (R12 or Fusion). Similarly if you are engineering background or production or manufacturing, you can go for SCM.
I have worked on Finance and Supply Chain module. If you ask me, all modules have a good scope in future. Be it Oracle Transportation, Supply Chain, Finance, procurement, manufacturing etc. None of the modules are dying any soon.
